Focus on transferable skills, achievements, and key skills to better align yourself with your targeted role and its respective function. Less on industry and more on the role itself and how you can provide value to that specific organization. The other circumstance would be if you are specifically trying to enter a different industry regardless of the title then you’d want emphasis on transferable industry skills.
