💯True Resume/Hiring Manager Facts You Need To Know

✔️Resume writing is more than just creating a document.

✔️You are actually assembling a highly strategic puzzle.

✔️Many job seekers think they are writing their resume for the decision-maker; the person who understands what they have done, can draw conclusions, and is likely to read the entire resume.

👉Actually, every resume must be able to survive 3 distinctly different audiences:

1️⃣ HR Staff who are not usually familiar with your position and have 100s of resumes to get to for matching with openings

2️⃣ Companies scan resumes into ATS and then let the computer search for keywords.

3️⃣ Hiring managers looking through the resumes trying to determine who is worth taking the time to talk to?

👉We face issues based on:

➡️ Visual presentation (grab attention?)

➡️ Focus on value offerings (demonstrated your USP relating to the company’s need?), and

➡️ Results you can and will propose (quantifiable challenges, actions, and results?).

💥 We want them to say, “I’ve got to speak to this person!”

👉You only have 7 seconds, so do this:

✅ Provide supporting evidence of how you relate to the target.

✅ Front-load the resume with relevant keywords for the target position.

✅ Have the proper layout with no graphs, columns, etc.
