Job search scams are getting more sophisticated.

From fake recruiters on LinkedIn to entire job boards being copied and cloned, it’s becoming harder and harder to tell what’s real — and what’s too good to be true.

Here are 7 metrics anyone can use, no matter your background:

1️⃣ Time — How fast did you get something done? Faster than before? Ahead of schedule?
2️⃣ Scope — How many users? Customers? Team members? Budget?
3️⃣ Efficiency — How did you save time or resources?
4️⃣ Productivity — Did you get more done in less time?
5️⃣ Revenue — Did your work drive sales or save money?
6️⃣ Comparison — How did your work perform vs. last quarter or last year?
7️⃣ Get Creative — Talk to other teams you helped. Ask about the impact. Numbers are always hiding somewhere.

In a world where scammers are faking roles, resumes should be doing the opposite: showcasing real results.
