As an intern, just listen to every single word everyone says, and track all the main tasks or processes they assign you. You cannot go wrong if you execute every single thing everyone tells you the exact way they tell you for the few months you were there! Get a good recommendation, track the references contact information, put it on your résumé! And then mention how I used to do free internships! To gain experience, a network of industry contacts, and exposure.
