Β Improved messaging so readers know what he was trying to do and what value he can offer.
Β More skills that are ATS compliant so he can stand out in a highly competitive industry and role.
Β Elevated experience section so he demonstrated more accomplishments, value offerings, and metrics over tasks.
Β The proper layout and format (in order) including a Summary, Key Skills/Technical Aptitude, Accomplishments, Experience, Education, Certification/Training, Affiliation, and Volunteerism.

π₯ Cole sent me this message out of nowhere, which I just had to share! He landed the new role as Business Development Executive with Hewlett-Packard! Way to go, Cole! LFG!
“Hey Matt! I hope you are doing well. I worked with you back in 2018 and you helped create a resume that I used to land the job I have today. (Thanks again!) I’ve had a few promotions and would like to work with you again to look over my updated resume with 6 year progress. I am expecting to apply or be promoted into a Director level role in the near future and would like your opinion and a possible revision. I have a few questions on what’s more important to highlight or keep since I would like to maintain a 1 page resume instead of two. For instance, should I remove the profile summary at the top to make room to show vertical movement and each promotion.
