πββοΈ Pedro came to me as a GSP Regional Services Sales Manager with Cisco Systems, and was hoping his new focus was to be in a sales leadership role in the CXM business.
π His issue was conveying his leadership messaging with the current resume, as it was communicating one of management.
π We wanted to figure out just what to get on his resume so it’s back to relevance.
π These are some questions I asked him so we could build his resume’s message and ensure it’s properly aligned with his targeted leadership role:
β What is your leadership style?
β How many people have you led?
β What project volume and budget can you handle?
β What process improvements or change management initiatives have you implemented?
β What are the most important decisions you make each day?
β Do you set aside specific times to cast vision to your employees and other leaders?
β How do you encourage an open-door policy?
βοΈ Once we built up his resume, Pedro began the search.
