Business is not about being busy. It’s about the impact you have, and the results you achieve. Be more efficient, don’t be obsessive.
Let me tell you the difference between being busy and being productive.
Being busy means that you are on the go all day, but you never seem to get much done.
Being productive means that you focus on one thing at a time and get it done.
Get your work done in an efficient way by choosing one task and sticking to it until it is finished.
Start small, one task at a time. One task turns into two. Two becomes multiple. Multiple task fulfillment becomes a project completion.
Even if you don’t feel up to it, knock out 3-5 minutes of a specific task. At least now you didn’t procrastinate.
Next? Time to start on project two.
