Have you ever felt like you’re drowning in a sea of responsibility?
Burnout can happen to anyone, and it’s not just physical fatigue.
It happens when we’re so stymied by too much effort and responsibility that our brains stop working and we lose hope.
It’s easy to get burned out when we’re so busy taking on new challenges, advancing in our careers, and tackling difficult goals.
The trick is knowing what to do when the fire is burning you out instead of getting you going.
And guess what?!

It doesn’t have to control you.
When you’re feeling overwhelmed, get logical.
Your body is calling to you! Heck, it’s screaming at this point.
Something needs to stop, change, reduce, whatever the case…
When you’re dealing with a body that’s hit the proverbial empty light, it can be difficult to figure out how to take time off and make time for self-care.
You may be dealing with fatigue if you find yourself feeling exhausted, unmotivated, and cranky.
Get the help you need to get back to your old self by following these 6 tips:
1️⃣ GET ENOUGH SLEEP
2️⃣ ASK FOR HELP
3️⃣ RECONNECT WITH YOUR PASSIONS
4️⃣ HANG WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY
5️⃣ GO OUTSIDE
6️⃣ JOIN A SUPPORT GROUP
The first step in coping with burnout is always to give yourself permission to slow down and rest.
If you’re feeling completely exhausted, allow yourself to take more time for sleep, relaxation, and fun!
You can also ask a friend to help by picking up your slack or taking over an extra responsibility.
Try out a combination of a few, or all, whenever that time comes. Remember, your body knows a whole heckuva lot about you.
