I had the immense pleasure of speaking at the Wilmington Young Mogul Development Group, at the invitation of Executive Director Travis Corpening. It’s a privilege to guide these bright high school students in enhancing their resume writing, mastering self-branding, sharpening interviewing skills, navigating the job hunt—and even planting the seeds of entrepreneurship.
Through hands-on workshops and real-world insights, we explored:
✅ Crafting strong resumes that reflect personality and purpose
✅ Building a personal brand that stands out in today’s competitive job market
✅ Polishing interview techniques, from storytelling to impactful first impressions
✅ Strategic job searching, from networking to follow-up
✅ Entrepreneurial mindsets, from ideation to execution
These students are seriously impressive—full of curiosity, ambition, and readiness to thrive. I left energized and inspired by their questions and eagerness to learn.
I enjoy helping out the youngsters in my local community, and supporting growth at this pivotal stage means so much—to them and to me. Huge thanks to Travis Corpening and the Young Mogul Development Group for the opportunity to contribute to such a powerful program!
