π Let’s be honest, sometimes employers post obvious stuff on their #jobdescriptions.
π I mean, mentioning a “family culture” on a job description just screams BS to me.
π Shouldn’t we all be kind to each other? Then why do we argue with uncles at the Thanksgiving table?
π Shouldn’t we all be empathetic? Then why does it seem zero congratulatory texts come through from friends or family after meeting a life achievement?
π₯ Why preach family anything in business?
π’ What I love is that employers expect YOU to be the one who should be detail-oriented.
π’ You’re the one who’s meticulous.
π’ You’re a diligent person if you expect to have a job there.
β But in all reality, the employer thinks they have the upper hand, so they can get a wee bit lazy with some things.
π€ But with greater importance more than ever on #candidateexperience (CX), employers will soon find out that what they put in their job descriptions are just as important as how they handle candidacy and the hiring cycle.
π Here’s my second post in the weekly series of #humorous (*I hope) memes in honor of some of the more lax verbiage I’ve seen.
What stuff do you see on job descriptions that drive you nuts? πππ
