π³οΈ Today’s officially election day in the USA and it comes down to numbers. πΊπΈ
How many people will vote?
How many votes with the candidates receive?
How many seats in the Senate and House will alter?
Numbers, numbers, numbers. They matter to the voters and the candidates.
They’re everywhere.
My 6th-grade mathematics teacher actually had mathematical wallpaper in her house (she claimed).
They mattered to Ms. Yurik.
Do you know where else numbers matter?

Numbers help show your bottom-line impact on the company.
That communicates that you’re focused on adding value, and not just a clock-watcher.
It shows you care about the operational impact such as time, money, productivity, efficiency, etc, and in a quick snapshot.
It shows you care about continuous improvement!
Not only that but those KPIs or metrics give them scope and the type of workload you’ve been handling.
If I recruit sales folks, I want to know sales outcomes.
Get to the point and help them (the hiring team) help you.
Finally, it’s nice to see some numbers on the resume to help break up the content.
Use numbers on your resume. They matter.
π€Get out and rock the vote today! πΊπΈπΊπΈπΊπΈ
