Develop a strategy for success. Don’t leave it to chance! Having a specific job search strategy can help alleviate the stress that’s induced by the job-hunting practice. Overloaded content about what to do and what not to do, other people landing jobs, jobs you like that close, and a schedule that’s inconsistent and can make the job seeker feel lost of unaccomplished. With a set strategy and plan of action for each day, not only will it be more streamlined, hopefully closing lead times between quality interviews, but also make the networking part somewhat enjoyable. As all these other fine career experts say though is true: you must strategize your job hunt. You cannot just “spray and pray” the job application boards.
I wrote a book specifically tailored towards breaking down your daily action items and calendaring your way to a successful career within 6 weeks: https://www.amazon.com/How-Get-UnUnEmployed-Step-Step/dp/1796971294/
