𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿: 𝟭𝟭 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀

𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗠𝗝𝗪 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝟭𝟭𝟯,𝟴𝟴𝟬 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀

✖️Age 9: Learnt to write creatively by Mrs. King at St. Ambrose. I caught the bug you could say. Fail.

✖️Age 10: Submitted my works for a contest, didn’t win, but was getting serious. Fail.

✖️Age 11: Completed my first mini-novel about a boy who shrinks and travels the entire United States (wrote it while driving from Cleveland to California and back). It didn’t go anywhere. Fail.

✖️Age 19: Started a writing portfolio to attempt my admission into the advertising world as a copywriter. Fail.

✖️Age 23: Started writing resumes part-time for client submissions as a recruiter. Didn’t make it in the recruiting business full-time. Fail.

✖️Age 25: Started writing sketch comedy and standup routines. Never “made” it in the comedy business. Fail.

✖️Age 26: Started writing screenplays. Never “made” it in Hollywood. Fail.

✔️Age 29: Started writing resumes full time. Success!

☄️ Success isn’t a comet that comes crashing in. It’s a slow burn.

🔥 Take the time to stoak the flames of your success. Take it one day at a time. One project at a time.

✅ All those failures will one day turn into that success you initially set out to achieve.

👷Also, the Lego typewriter was super fun to build. Very intricate and works like a real one! I would definitely look into it for you Lego nerds like me out there. Onto the Fender Stratocaster build!
