It’s Been 4 Years Since My Dad Passed…

𝙸𝚝’𝚜 𝙱𝚎𝚎𝚗 𝟺 𝚈𝚎𝚊𝚛𝚜 𝚂𝚒𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝙼𝚢 𝙳𝚊𝚍 𝙿𝚊𝚜𝚜𝚎𝚍…

And I miss him every single day. It’s a day that always brings a mix of emotions. I find myself reflecting on all the moments he’s missed, like some great Cleveland Cavs and Cleveland Indians games. The Cleveland Browns, well, they continue to be the Browns. I miss our time together on the golf course, swinging sticks and sharing laughs.

I’ve recently gotten back into sports card trading, a hobby he got me into and fell in love with. It brings back memories of our old sports store and the conventions we attended. Now, I’m creating new memories with my son, Gus, and my daughter, Madison. I’m committed to passing on the traditions and values my dad instilled in me to them.

It’s bittersweet that my dad never got to meet Maddie, but through old photos and videos, she’ll know who he was and the impact he had on our lives. Also, his little buddy Clancy went on to see dad this year in heaven, so I’m glad they’re having fun now together again.

So here’s to you, Dad. Cheers bud🍺

I look forward to the day we’ll meet again and chase that 300 bowling score or holes-in-one together. Until then, I’ll keep squeezing my loved ones a little tighter, cherishing every moment, and carrying on your legacy.
