Make Sure To Celebrate National #MentalHealthDay

For today’s national mental health day, I challenge you to reach out to a friend and ask how they’re truly doing. Open discussions up with people about mental health. Sometimes it’s uncomfortable, but we need to change the stigma. As a survivor of mental health anguish myself, I know first-hand just how debilitating it can be. Going outside can be a struggle. But know that there are people who are EXACTLY like you and have beat it and never looked back. You build mindfulness also so you can identify your own triggers, and also an ability to speak about it to others.

Share your story. Do not be afraid. Know that I love you, and if you need to talk, just hit me up. Change is possible. Comfort is possible. Confidence is possible. We’re all in this thing called life together. Let’s make it easy on each other.

To celebrate #mentalhealthday2020, my company, MJW Careers, will be donating $100 to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) as part of an effort to support mental health fighters and survivors, as well as those we’ve lost so tragically to this disease. We’ll never forget you.

Be kind, stay safe and remain well, friends.

Oh a little humor as well, this pickle’s just too cute!
