With a few exceptions (targeting opportunities with Mom & Pop shops or early-stage startups) where you’re expected to wear many hats, being a jack or jill-of-all-trades isn’t something to lean into in your resume and LinkedIn profile.
Hiring managers looking to fill a niche often don’t approach search with a wide focus. The greater the niche, the greater the opportunity.

It’s important to know where your communities live. This means making sure you’re not ruling out niche job boards (i.e., HRRemoteJobs.com) and networking platforms (a la Fishbowl).

If you want to be found and have people reach out to you on LinkedIn — don’t make it tough. Include an email in the contact section and also ideally in your About section.
