Holy smokes does that sound intimidating.

Ahhh, there we go, now it’s our friend.
Yeah right! Heck no it ain’t! It’s not meant to be!
The ATS is meant to be a gatekeeper, EEOC tracker, interview scheduler, resume database, and a handful of other bells and whistles that help make the lives of HR, hiring managers, and the recruitment team a little easier and more organized.
That’s what you’re supposed to do too for the company! MAKE THEIR LIVES EASIER!
So why is the ATS so darn intimidating to the job seekers out there?
Probably because unless you’re on the other side of the screen, you have no idea just how it works or what it truly does.
So let’s demystify this thing.
I was tapped by a dear friend and industry colleague of mine, Robin Ryan, to help contribute some insight into the whacky and efficient, albeit quasi-faulty, world of the ATS.
