From writing reports to managing emails and summarizing documents, artificial intelligence is establishing itself as an essential ally in the world of work. Job seekers have understood this well: they are increasingly using it to boost their applications, particularly when writing CVs. But be careful, using this technology without discernment can sometimes backfire…
We know about ChatGPT from OpenAI, but a little less about its cousin with the French name, Claude. However, this AI assistant is also capable of generating text on demand, such as cover letters or CVs. But, ironically, the company Anthropic, which developed it, nevertheless requires its future recruits to write their CVs without resorting to artificial intelligence, as revealed by the magazineย 404 media .

A technology that will revolutionize recruitment?
Furthermore, while AI is becoming increasingly interactive and therefore “sociable,” it still suffers from a slight but persistent lack of personality. The resumes it generates tend to be neutral and standardized, reducing the candidate’s chances of attracting the attention of recruiters and securing an interview. “AI-generated resumes […] do not always fully capture the essence of the applicant. The AI โโmay not accurately reflect their personality or the subtleties of their career path. Traditional resumes, on the other hand, tend to offer a more holistic view, including the candidate’s communication style and personal touch,” Matthew Warzel, president of MJW Careers, toldย Forbesย .
