Please check out this fantastic article by Suffolk News Herald’s QuaWanna Bannarbie with our president, Matt Warzel, as a contributor – Introducing Miss De Cline
We discussed my work in helping job seekers execute the steps to get to where they need to be or want to go.
How I conduct assessment briefings with my clients to ask questions to help them discover an “A-ha moment” that is the core inspiration to help them make the next move.
I ask questions, such as:
1. What are you passionate about now?
2. What were you passionate about when you were in high school and after you graduated?
3. What topics tickle your tummy just thinking about? Any absolutely make you feel so good about exploring that topic, you just chomping at the bit to get to searching information about it?
4. What sorts of topics do you gravitate toward each day when reading news, posts, or updates?
5. What is holding you back from going after your passion right this very second? Competition and too many people already involved in that work, lack of funding, lack of vision, lack of strategy, lack of mentors, etc?
6. How many people do you know that are doing exactly the type of work you’re doing, and did you research their life’s story to identify opportunities for avenues of success?
7. Have you taken any education, certification, training, etc. that will help position you for this type of work?
8. Have you joined any associations that will help align you with the proper knowledge and thought process of someone in that type of role/industry?
9. What is your day like? How many hours go towards professional growth? What are the remaining hours dedicated too and is that wise use of time?
