I came across this neat viral post a while back. I love music. Been to hundreds of concerts. From the good ole indie bands to the proverbial annual Roar, Hoard, Lollapalooza, and any of the other million traveling festivals. Still no Bonnaroo, too old now in my early 40’s? 60’s Woodstock would’ve been cool. Here you go!

1. First Concert – Air Supply (3rd grade with parents forced but awesome show and love me some Air Supply love songs) / Metallica (self-picked, 7th grade with my brother, 13th bday gift)

2. Last Concert – The Wailers, Dave Matthews Band, and Robert Plant/Alison Krauss with my wife, Jamie, and son, Gus

3. Worst Woncert – Elton John in Anaheim in 08 (he seemed sleepy or hungover maybe? super disappointed), Bone Thugs and Harmony at Myrtle Beach HOB (Clevelanders! 5-6 songs total over 70 minutes, only 2 original members showed up), and Eric Clapton in Raleigh (new album tour, barely any hits played)

4. Loudest Concert – Stone Temple Pilots (SRO NYE show at LA HOB) or Marilyn Manson (SRO at Myrtle Beach HOB)

5. Best Concert – Pearl Jam 1996 (with brother, 16th bday surprise at Toledo Savage Hall), STP in Santa Barbara, Neil Diamond at Hollywood Bowl, Billy Joel in Anaheim, or Guns n Roses at Wake Forest with Gus in Jamie’s belly (friggin smokers around us)

6. Seen the Most – Dave Matthews Band and Stone Temple Pilots

7. Most Surprising – Beck in Raleigh and Joe Cocker in LA

8. Happy I Got to See – Eagles’ Hell Freezes Over tour with my mom, The Who’s VH1 Rock Honors at UCLA, Roger Waters a couple times and Tom Petty/Steve Winwood joint show at the Hollywood Bowl

9. Wish I Could Have Seen – Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Seals and Croft, Genesis and The Hollies (and Rage Against The Machine but hoping to catch β€˜em)

10. Seeing Next – The Eagles (hopefully) in Raleigh
