NEW TOOL ALERT FOR JOBSEEKERS: Greenhouse just made it easier to shoot your shot

👀 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗧𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗔𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗧 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗝𝗢𝗕𝗦𝗘𝗘𝗞𝗘𝗥𝗦: 𝖦𝗋𝖾𝖾𝗇𝗁𝗈𝗎𝗌𝖾 𝗃𝗎𝗌𝗍 𝗆𝖺𝖽𝖾 𝗂𝗍 𝖾𝖺𝗌𝗂𝖾𝗋 𝗍𝗈 𝗌𝗁𝗈𝗈𝗍 𝗒𝗈𝗎𝗋 𝗌𝗁𝗈𝗍 🎯

Last week, hiring software company Greenhouse rolled out a new feature called Dream Job, letting applicants select ONE job per month and tell the company: “Hey, you’re my top choice.” ❤️

That’s huge. In a world where AI writes job descriptions, AI tweaks resumes, AI ranks candidates… sometimes the human gets lost in the shuffle. Recruiters are overwhelmed and relying more on referrals and direct signals to find real matches.

💡 So what can YOU do as a jobseeker to stand out in the chaos?

Here are 5 ACTION ITEMS to jump ahead in line:

1️⃣ Use the Dream Job feature if you’re applying through Greenhouse. Seriously—do it! Make it intentional. Make it count.

2️⃣ Follow up directly with a thoughtful message to the hiring manager. Let them know why you chose that role. Be human. Be real.

3️⃣ Double-down on referrals. If you know someone inside the company, reach out. A warm intro beats AI any day.

4️⃣ Customize your resume and cover letter. Tools help, but don’t let AI suck out your voice. Tell a compelling story about why YOU.

5️⃣ Treat this like dating. Be selective. Be intentional. Don’t swipe-right your way into application fatigue. Quality > Quantity.
