Short answer – It depends on your country.

Long answer – In the United States, it’s best to keep your photos on your LinkedIn profile only.

✨Reasons?

1️⃣ First off, it can create hiring bias.

2️⃣ Secondly, it can hurt your chances of your resume being picked up properly and scanned into the system because it can disrupt the AI’s job.

3️⃣ Finally, it’s a bit creepy.

🧐 Employers are more concerned with your skills alignment and accomplishments on the resume, enough to where they want to invite you into an interview where then they want to see if you have a personality and ability to fit into the role.

At no point have I ever had a hiring manager want to bring in a candidate because of their photo.
