The 100 Weirdest Job Titles We’ve Seen…

As a former recruiter turned career coach and resume writer, I’ve seen my fair share of oddball titles.

Some you even think are made up! And some are just too conceited for me like “Wizard of Light Bulb Moments,” which is a Marketing Director…I guess.

Chill out HR!

Well, I came across a fantastic article by Coburg Banks, a fantastic writer based out of the UK, who compiled a list of the top 100 weirdest job titles he’s seen and that have genuinely been found on resumes and CVs.

Some funny ones?

Snake Milker – Someone who milks snakes of their venom

Wet Leisure Attendant – Lifeguard

Dream Alchemist – Head of Marketing

Marker of the Swans — Someone who, quite literally, marks all of the swans

Pornography Historian – Uhhh, yup!

Fake Mourner – Someone who cries for you at a funeral (that makes me want to cry)

Sales Ninja — A Sales Executive (geeeeez)

Conversation Architect — A Digital Marketing Manager

Oyster Floater — Someone who floats oysters in water until they are free of impurities
