πŸš• Did you know some hiring managers use your Uber rating as a metric to determine the type of person you will most likely be when being employed?

If a company has its culture intact and many happy employees who are like-minded and along for the ride as a team, an often overlooked ranking, like Uber’s ride rating, can sometimes be all you need when vetting candidates.

I mean, honestly, with a crappy Uber rating, does it mean you’re a crappy person? I dunno, maybe?

Maybe a string of bad rides.

Maybe a string of bad events.

Maybe a string of bad drivers.

But perception is reality.

And if you’re allowing others to perceive you negatively, maybe a simple metric like your Uber rating is all you need to kick yourself in the butt to change things up.

I came across 2 really neat articles about the topic that you just have to read to understand this pre-screening option.

And as a sidebar, had to leave my own rating. 4.96 out of 5. Not bad! Drunk Matt mighta’ annoyed a handful of drivers out there with tales of the Cleveland Browns winning a Super Bowl someday. To those fine folks, my apologies. I’m blaming the Bulleit.

Chime in over here, leave some thoughts about the topic (and your Uber rating if you dare 😈)!
